The agenda reflects the priorities and professional development needs of service providers as shared during the meeting planning process, which included a detailed survey and Meeting Planning Advisory. The Summit will include keynote speakers, governmental speakers, concurrent sessions, and opportunities for feedback. Please join us for each full day, or you can select the topics of your choice. The Summit will provide a gathering place, a sense of connectivity, and valuable knowledge during this challenging time for service delivery.
The B.C. Settlement and Integration Services Program (BCSIS) supports the social and economic integration of newcomers who are not eligible to receive immigrant support services under federally funded programs. The Province of British Columbia through the Ministry of Municipal Affairs funds over fifty service providers across the province to deliver supports and services for temporary foreign residents throughout B.C. The program serves provincial nominees awaiting approval for permanent residency, temporary foreign workers, international students, refugee claimants as well as naturalized Canadian citizens.
